Designed by Alberto Sánchez founder of renowned Valencia’s studio MUT Design, Float from Miras Editions is a kitchen composed of different modules generating a landscape of hybrid furniture adapting naturally to a variety of spaces. The kitchen offers an innovative proposal hoping to return its status as a fully habitable space by means of a logical and rational language appealing directly to emotions.
As well as described by Javier Miras founder of Miras Editions “Float is a kitchen imbued with sensitivity, but highly practical and functional. It’s rational, but at the same time it possesses the beauty and sobriety of a unique artwork. Through its quality aesthetics, discreet and balanced, it seeks durability and timelessness while shunning fads or anything close to conventional.” These words from Javier Miras define very well the entire creative process for Float from its conception until its introduction to the public on a digital platform.
A functional solution
In tight collaboration with Mut Design in charge of the design and visual identity of the project, we developed and coded a website integrating a backend with a frontend fully manageable from client’s side. We have been also working on the user experience from a user point of view, visitors and administrators, on how the website can evolve with time by adding more products, catalogues, promotional images and including collaborators like designers working with Miras Editions.
